Here we are, everyone. The end of the fall quarter! Look at how far we've all come!
Last week I made a small goal to complete inbetweening 3 easy shots and render out a film draft of my short. And I did it!
It was such an achievable goal I even completed 4 shots instead of 3.
Here are the little snippets:
And my personal favorite:
And the final piece of progress that you've all been waiting for:
The second rough draft of my short film, accompanied by music and sound fx.
For the rest of the remaining year, I'll be finishing up inbetweening the more difficult shots and refining smaller details. Then, during the winter quarter for three months, I'll be hard at work painting backgrounds and designing a color script in preparation for post-production in the spring.
I would to thank my classmates of the 2021 fall F/TV 72H class for their neverending excitement and support for this insanely ambitious project. They inspire me so and made me look forward to Tuesday mornings when we would share our precious creations. This class is a start to an epic journey of art and filmmaking and for the next years, we will be exploring and charting our own wild forestsโ€“and make many unexpected friends along the way.
May it be an owl or a mouse.
You are all of my friends and I cherish the things you make.
I cannot wait to see what lies on the horizon for us.
Thank you!
